All-nighters 2010

Now that the full programme has been published, this year I am somewhat spoiled for choice as to which all-nighter to attend as the Manga, Strarcraft and Japan all-nighters all have a certain appeal. But as usual, I am going to have to ask my annual (or bi-annual question if you include Oktoberfest)...

Star Trek All nighter

Quick question about this now that the ticket application link is up and running - will the films be shown on video (standard def or HD) or 35mm film?

Thank you!

Re: Oktoberfest Feedback

It was definitely good to have something to fill the gap before the next festival. I even preferered the all night lineups to the main festival in May (mainly as I'd seen all of them already). Ended up choosing the all night anime because a) the zombies one was a bit full and b) anime seems to cope ...

Re: OKTOBERFEST 2008

Has the final film for the anime been decided yet? And are the films being shown on real film or video projector?
What about the Zombie all nighter - film or video?

Re: Programme Questions

Thanks; helps tidy up my programme Matrix a bit. Now I just need to co-ordinate the viewing requests of the 3 other people who are coming along too! I will probably go and see Dragon Hunters but as anyone who knows me will tell you, I am very fussy about my film presentation quality!I have just abou...

Programme Questions

Great to see the full programme online now. Too much too see - so far I have come up with 16 differnet possible viewing schedules and am having trouble chosing which one(still not going to get to see everything I want due to clashes, but what can you do!) However there are a couple of possible typos...

Sci-Fi London 2006 Feedback Thread

Fortunately the DVD was still in its cellophane wrapper so the spider guts will instantly come off once I unwrap it and the disc will be as good as new! I actually had the dubious pleasure of seeing the UK premiere of Maniac Cop 2 many years ago at the Black Sunday horror film festival. If you thoug...

Sci-Fi London 2006 Feedback Thread

Here are my thoughts on the bits of the festival I attended (Survive Style 5+ and Anine all-nighter). The new venue was good. There didn't seem to be as much space in the bar/foyer area as at the Curzon but the screens themselves were better (Stadium seating means a better view for more people. And ...

Anime all nighter running order

Well I 've just booked my tickets for the anime all nighter but have a question about the running order of the films. Are they going to be shown in the order listed on the website (i.e. Karas, FF7, PPIOED and GitS2)? I ask becasue I know that GitS2 is quite a slow film and even thought it is very go...
