Re: New Who
For me the Finale pretty much encapsulated RTD's style. At times he can be emotionally affecting, but he's also lasy, doesn't truly understand the genre, and just makes stuff up to get out of tight situations. Donna was best when she wasnt shouting, but won't be a massive loss now that she's 'left' ...

Re: New Who
Ok, so Series 4 (/30) is now over (- in a melancholy mess!). :? As is now traditional, lets have your nominations for the best and worst episodes please. My votes: Best Episode: 'Silence in the Library' (- quite possible the best of the last 4 series!) - with an honerable mention for 'Midnight' Wors...

Film & Festivals Magazine! What ever made you think of that!
And having seen it there yesterday, I can indeed confirm that F&F Magazine is currently stocked at the BFI Southbank Filmstore too! Nice.

Re: Time Out Preview
Good little article methinks! (- though I'm fairly sure Louis is talking about the 48hr film challenge this year, not last year?)
Listings guides are where its at!!
Anyone else seen anything in any others? I can confirm that there's nothing about SFL in The Independent this Saturday.

Re: Mystery Science Theater 3000
Theres no news as of yet, but hopefully it'll be on again this year - pleeesse!
As for recomendations, can I put in a vote for This Island Earth (aka: The MST3K Movie), and also for the episode that I've just finished watching: Jack Frost!

Re: New New Bord Layout
Yeh, well done Shaz, good work with the forum, and the site in general!
Will take a little while for me to get used to the way the board is sort of 'nested', but personally I dont mind the Avatars on the right (though it does now look like I'm staring out into space!!)
Good work!

Do ITV Have Any Original Ideas?
Having recently tried to wagon-jump the popularity of Dr Who with their own series, Primeval , I now see that ITV are copying the BBC's Jekyll series with a re-imagining of Frankenstein ! Do they have any good ideas of their own? :?: - And this from the channel that once broadcast such seminal works...

Only problem with the "Heros" coverage on the BBC at the moment, is the "Heroes Unmasked" (read "Heroes Confidential"!) documentary, which this week gave away plot spoilers! :( I'm so glad I caught it on Sci-Fi, where you really had no idea what was going to happen next! :) The BBC seem to be doing ...

So Heroes began on BBC last night, hope eveyone is liking it! :) I'm not usually one for watching series I've already seen before, but I surprised even myself when I sat through it all again last night! What was really impressive was the number of things set up in those very first episodes (names, i...
