I loved the "non-fatal" pulse gun from the series Tek War not forgetting the Talon wrist weapons from The Gend Rodenberry series

Pathetically enough, the double-blaster things from The Black Hole will always hold a special place in my heart.

In the playground, the only difference between playing Starsky & Hutch and playing Black Hole was how you held your hand to simulate the gun.

(Black Hole was longest & littlest, with the thumb tucked in, in case you were wondering..)

Ah "The Black Hole".

One question though: With dead people and a big red killer robot, how was this supposed to be a kids film exactly? (made by Disney no less!).

I mean I never saw it as a kid, but for similar reasons I still have a deep seated fear of supercomputers thanks to Superman 3!!

The whole 'burning descent into hell' with disturbing surrealist imagery as a big finale must have been interesting at the marketing meetings, too..

oh how times have changed.

Now Disney (via Miramax) wont even distribute a film like Fahrenheit 9/11 because it might be too controversial!

(Ps. The Terminator could probably be called a Weapon but not a Gun, unless you are talking about the T- X, which I guess is a bit more of a grey area!)

Yes I think Megatron does count, but probably not the T-1000 or the T- X.

You have to draw the line somewhere!

Reviving old posts.

I always though the weapons form the Blade universe were vey unique and cool looking.

Especially the ones used in Blade II, see examples below

And what about Jane's gun Vera from Firefly/Serenity? Just because he named it and keeps it next to his bunk, where he keeps going on his own.

Definitely not Rorschach's gun from this Watchmen movie bust:

I fear a little more every day for that film.
