Post by elle » Mon Jun 18, 2007 11:24 am

another blurb for BBC7 digital radio station
and Seventh Dimension on @ 6pm and midnight..AND always online 8)
so can listen when doing other stuff?
this is award winning sci-fi..
if Pres Kennedy had lived,
(survived the shooting and was in a wheelchair)
how different the world would be?..
and the first manned mission to MARS !
IT IS def worth a listen, give your ears a treat...

I am answering myself... and reporting in
 why not try the BBC7 for 'Voyage'?.. it is really brilliant....
I know we live in an age of the eye...
peeking into an asylum (big brother)
eyeing and laughing at all the X SHOWS...
and trying to win money answering questions my cats had forgotten the answers to.....

BUT the ear needs to be fed with sci fi... 8)

This sounds like the radio adaptation of Stephen Baxter's novel, it was broadcast on radio 4 a long time ago and you could get it on BBC audio CD or cassette (remember those?) The book - and this adaptation - are both awesome.

SFL has a couple of episodes of X Minus 1 (always to be said in an ominously pausing american accent) up at the bottom of the podcast page if you want a bit more in the way of radio sci-fi. I'm still working my way through the complete archive (findable over at archive.org) and they're almost all rather great so far.
