two movies I'm trying to find yet I cannot remember

Hi,

I'm looking for two movies that I cannot remember their names. One of them is around Star Wars Ep. IV era, perhaps even older, it also resembles Star Wars stuff. There was a man with a light saber and when he died he disappeared like a Jedi.

The other one is also probably from the same era, it was a mythological movie with Zeus, Medusa, etc. One other thing I remember from the movie was a robot-like bird.

Can anyone remember stuff like that?

hmmm... 1st one I cAnnot think of, but the second is CLASH OF THE TITANS... OR JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS - I often confuse which one has the mechanical bird.

Thanx a lot for the replies... Clash of the Titans is right, I checked it in the Internet. But Space Balls is not the right movie, it is quite new and different. The one I'm looking for is older than Space Balls. And it is a true science fiction movie.

Is there a complete list of science fiction movies somewhere in the Internet?
