Allocated tickets for allnighters

Post by Mobeer » Thu Mar 15, 2007 10:59 pm

Thanks to the 'people who be' for introducing allocated tickets for allnighters. I asked for this last year after some people came in late expecting to find their allocated seats. Now we'll see if this actually works then before.

Na all-nighters should be stake your claim, not pre-book.

As Mobeer rightly says, we shall have to see how it goes. It might mean less crowding as people clamour in to get seats, which will make the "tunnel experience" much more humane.

Having Air Conditioning that worked would do that.

I was in the Anime line.

It will also allow people to turn up later/nearer the time of the actual screening if they want to knowing their seats are available.

yeh i think that the allocation is good.. get food, and go to loo, and chat ..etc etc..and still come back to your blanket and spare sox etc...

true about the rush and queuing not needed if tickets are allocated...????

air conditioning and an anime queue? mm think that one through?

i thought the conditioning was fighting to breathe itself

I think it's a good idea but it's also driving me spare.

+On the upper hand last year i turned up hours and hours early because thats what i do for these kinds of things and gigs and such to make sure i get a good spot. My seats were awesome last year and the waiting wasn't too bad because there were lots of fanatics to talk to.

-On the downside i haven't been paid even once yet this year because my h/o messed up and lost my p45 and if i don't get money soon i'm worried i won't have a chance to book good seats ~_~ and i'm probably not getting paid till the end of the month.

+On the upper hand it means that i can ensure me and my someone (just for me) don't have to sit near all my nuts friends who i don't really want to introduce him to. (they're lovely i love them... but they're the kind of people i don't want to be sat next to all bleedin night. The kind of people who will try to talk to me through the anime...)

-On the downside i won't be able to cosplay because of my money situation :'| even though i FINALLY found the perfect wig for my play and it's only £15ish ~0

Then again maybe i'm just being paranoid, because lets face it good as anime all nighter is i doubt there are so many fanatics that all the good seats are gonna be gone within half an hour....
Still i'm ringing up every other day on the off chance i can book, but so far everytime i've rung there has been no answer at all.
Yep i definately have a paranoia/worrying problem.

Good thing : last year our party of three was split up, and so we had to sit next to people we didn't know for the whole thing - this year it will be better!

Bad thing : I only just booked, and the only row left with enough seats was the front :/

Front row means plenty of leg-room to stretch and relax and no one to block your view.

Sleep? You're obviously not going to the MST3K all-nighter.
