Anime All-Nighter, some general questions

Post by Roosta » Tue Apr 18, 2006 6:51 pm

Welcome to the Forum perfecto2002, Cobaltkun and Mart!

Just a few things to add to the discussion here;

- Pre-booked tickets can be picked up at any time that the Apollo Box Office is open - though you must remember to bring your method of payment along with you (e.g. credit card) in order to get them - oh and don’t forget to bring them along to the actually event either, otherwise there could be problems!

- One of the best things about the Allnighters is the chance to experience a group cinematic event/achievement - and mingling with all the other people from all the other allnighters is just one of those, so enjoy, its a great atmosphere! (smells aside!)

- Oh and I'd also recommend arriving early, not because its particularly tough to get in, but just to enjoy all of the other things going on; like the mini-cine, talkoake, etc.

And if all of these wonderments still fail excite you, then as a last resort, you can always just enjoy yourself staring at the colour changing bar! Ooooooo colours!.

Now thats entertainment!
:D

Anime All-Nighter, some general questions

Post by blackninja » Tue Apr 18, 2006 9:20 pm

hi, ive got my share of questions to ask aswell since someone in my group is getting worried (we rarely go out)

- when we collect our tickets i was told we show the CC used, does it matter that it wasnt my CC?

- i got some 4 digit number over the phone, i didnt pay much attention to what it was, is it important, it most likely is (ive got it written down just incase)

- is there an age restriction to coming to this event

- finally, on a less serious note, what is purbeck icecream

thanks for any help in advance

Oh how I dread my lack of ID. I pre-booked, I have my debit card (although it's pretty beaten up, the signiture bar has disintegrated etc...), but I don't have any ID to accompany it... unless they accept birth certificates which feels horribly dorky.

I don't drive and I currently lack a passport, is this going to be an issue?

My friend is under 16, but he has already bought tickets. What will happen to him?

I love Horror, Anime & Crappy movies, so was a tough choice for me, but picked the Anime one, got one of the last 3 tickets!

I'll be going to see the 2:15 America film and I'll pick up my tickets then, If anyone wants to chat to me if you see me feel free, I have quite strong feelings about films, (I don't know alot of modern Anime though, more horror based)

When I worked at Cineworld, you just needed the card to show, that's it, to collect the tickets, or use one of the ticket collecting machinese, surely a expensive place like the Apollo has those.

I don't know if I should betray the cinema employee code.

Does he look under 16?
