This is a trailer for the Dante's Inferno animated epic being released in February. It's part of a promotional campaign related to the Dante's Inferno Xbox 360 game being released next year by Visceral Games. Visceral Games were previously known as EA Redwood Shores, the team behind Deadspace, who attended the 2008 Oktoberfest all nighter festival with a bunch of 360s, goodies, cosplay and other fun things.
I wonder if there will be any kind of sponsored event related to that this year?

I'm also looking forward to these movies.
I especially like Vesperia and Eden.
I'm excited. =)
Re: anime all nighter april-may 2010
Evangelion 2.0 would be fantastic. If you can get hold of the two Gurren Lagann movies they'll be great to show as well. Hoping for Summer Wars too.
Re: anime all nighter april-may 2010
Summer Wars has indeed been picked up by Manga so the chances of it being included in a SFL line up are pretty good. Chances of Eva 2.0 are pretty good too.donmurray29 wrote:Anime movies I would like to see

TO has also been suggested. Not many people have heard of it yet. You can find more about it here http://mv.avex.jp/to/index.html (be patient, it takes ages to load) and here http://www.quietearth.us/articles/2009/ ... otogari-TO
Fate /Stay night- Unlimited Blade Works has only just come out in Japan so getting a dubbed version in time isn't going to happen and an official subtitled version probably wouldn't be out in time either.
Bleach: The DiamondDust Rebellion has both an official dub and sub and a recent DVD release in the US so it's a eminent possibility. Out of the three Bleach movies so far I personally think it's the best one.
Eden of the East The Movie would be good but it'd require people who hadn't seen the TV series to do a whole lot of catching up or they'd be left wondering what the hell's going on. But, as FUNimation have picked up the licence then it should get a DVD release soon enough.
Re: anime all nighter april-may 2010
Summer Wars and Evangelion 2.0 would be fantastic. Would they been shown dubbed or with subtitles? Also, how about the two Gurren Lagann movies? The final one came out on DVD in Japan last week. Although would you need an English distributor to do the subtitles? Also, do you know what date the all nighter is likely to be on?
Re: anime all nighter april-may 2010
Reg Bleach, I've found that I enjoy the movies more than the show itself, mainly because the need to tell the story in 90 minutes forces the creators to speed up the pace considerably. Sometimes characters--including Ichigo, the presumptive main character, disappear from the stage for so long that when they show up again I half-expect them to say, "Hi! Remember me?" One major character was apparently killed during the arc that wound up with episode 167 and, unless I missed something along the way, none of the other characters involved in the story has learned that yet.penfold wrote:Summer Wars has indeed been picked up by Manga so the chances of it being included in a SFL line up are pretty good. It's also nice to see soul reapers actually fighting hollows in the world of the living, something that doesn't happen much in the series.
Re: anime all nighter april-may 2010
Is this actually line up or speculated?
If you really have the new eva i'll freak, though i'm not sure i'm fond of the new female character. Her butt is rather curvaceous tough.
Tried to book tickets about 4 days ago and they said not yet so blah.
I WANNNNEEE BOOOK!
I just always freak about the tiny possibility of not getting good seats cos that would truly suck.
I guess i'll try the apollo again tomorrowzzzz

Re: anime all nighter april-may 2010
I've posted in this thread twice but both times my posts have never showed up. Is there a delay on approving posts or what? Anyway, third time lucky?
As I said in my other posts; how about the Gurren Lagann movies? Would they be possible contenders or would they need an English licensor first to be shown?
Seconding what Toria said as well. If you have Eva 2.0 I will freak. By the way, don't worry about the new character. She isn't in the film that much and we really don't learn anything about her. Although that is quite unfortunate because she is frickin awesome.

Re: anime all nighter april-may 2010
To add to the previous suggestions of Evangelion 2.0, Eden of the East (Probably only King of Eden, Paradise Lost was pushed back to March so might be too soon after the Japanese premier. The Barbican got Mai Mai Miracle within a week of it's premier though, so there's a chance...) and Macross F: The Wings of Goodbye (though there's not even a date for it yet, only the compilation movie is out), there's also Gundam UC, Break Blade (again, the Japanese premier is 29th April, so it would be a bit of a stretch to get it right away), Bungaku Shoujo, the Nanoha movie, the Trigun movie and the Haruhi movie. Redline would be just awesome though.

No Evangelion 2.0? What happened to the chances being pretty good? :[
Re: anime all nighter april-may 2010
Ha, typical. Post up a big announcement - well ahead of the game I might add - that the big cheeses have snagged us four damn good movies and the first response is a complaint.Touka wrote:No Evangelion 2.0? What happened to the chances being pretty good? :[
