i am, and i have been told its a good film. And im sure as a stand alone film its gonna be great, but im not sure it can live up to the radio series and the books. Because i red the books first and listened to the series and I have my own ideas of how things should be, as im sure most people have, but im sure the writer, director and actors will do a fine job on it! And their casting is great...Stephen Fry as the Book - genuis and Martin Freeman as Arthur is good, and Alan Rickman as Marvin!!! I'm looking forward to it....my friend and i are even getting t-shirts made for when we go....not sure what we're having on the back yet. either "Do you know where your towel is?" or " Life. Dont talk to me about life" lol....
so yeah excited! :D :D

yes sark, and ruthie, get a small hand towel from a £1 shop wear it french style on shoulder and and paint on it...
''' my other towel is ''''''''''
or %)
whatever?
you are right it has to be seen as a stand alone movie..i have it on audio cd and it is great ,
so looking forward to it..has to be seen @ greenwich filmworks and pay for gallery seats.....
stephen fry (my ultimate genius,i would listen to him reading a phone book)
and all the cast, we have brilliant actor voices in uk?
sorry but once again i am not critiquing, old friends coming back are welcome... :p

(does the new league of gents movie count as fantasy?
or just local? %)

Well I guess I am, and always will be, a big fan of the Radio show, more so than the books or TV series, so it will be interesting to see how the film turns out. I've heard good things about it in reviews so I guess I will just have to keep an open mind when I go see it! %)

But thinking about casting, is it me or is there some kind of movie law in force at the moment, which says that any film with a substantialy British cast must include either Bill Nighy, Alan Rickman or Rowan Atkinson? (or all of the above at the same time!) :?
Maybe thats just me.

It must be a Thursday,
I never could get the hang of Thursdays.

:)

Damnit Roosta you're so cynical! :p

The radio show is cool, althouht series 2 ends on such an annoying cliffhanger! I guess I should hear series 3 sometime...

Shouldn't the T-shirt say 'Don't Panic' Ruthie? Or is that too obvious? 'Share and Enjoy' perhaps, although it might be taken the wrong way. Perhaps 'Go stick your head in a pig' might offend...

Are we allowed to discuss fantasy films and stuff here? I've been avoiding it...

'Don't panic' would work and be funny for all die-hard and new HH fans! 'Share and Enjoy' - yeah i think you're right in thinking that would send out the wrong message! i think 'life dont talk to me about life' is funny to the people that know what it means, and depressing to those who dont lol!

Roosta, i know what you mean about British films and the actors, but Alan Rickman is my favourite actor, one of the reason i want to get into the business, and to me he cant be in enough stuff lol! I can live without Bill Nighly though....

I'm looking forward to it! I think it will be good fun and from the pictures I've seen, visually it lives up to how I imagined it (kinda).

I like the 'life, don't talk to me about life'. It would be cool.

'dont talk to me about life'? i think i should get a life?..waiting for movies like this? (@)
although i have been busy hunting down mattresses ''for drying out and export to earth'' (HH)..... ;)
