Sci-fi at its bare essentials. The human drama of it all! Saw it last night and while the obvious comparisons are 'Frankenstein' and 'Re-animator' it is at least as serious and challenging as the former but not funny like the later. But in many ways it goes beyond either of them.
The cinematography was great and the location, high up in the hills of Colorado made the whole thing very beautiful. It has something which I think is a sign of a good script and screenplay, the fact that not everything is revealed allowing assumptions and inferences to take part of the story.
Good choice

Really good film and reminds you to have faith in Sci-fi as a challenging genre with still much to say.
