Forum members here the news first! Over the next few months I will drop news in here on movies we have confirmed.

So, we are pleased to announce SFL4 will have the UK Premiere of CUBE ZERO - this is the movie that claims to tie up all the loose ends.

More later...

After seeing the news wire on Aeon Flux the movie, any chance of showing Aeon Flux the animated series?

So what does everyone think of the line-up so far? Looks very good to me, i've seen Primer, The Machinist & The Purifiers already and can recommend all of them, though the Purifiers isn't perfect, but how can you not like, or not want to support, a kung fu film made in Scotland?

Not heard of these ones but they sound very interesting -

Slipstream - films with time travel are always fun and they throw up endless possibilities

Able Edwards - sounds very intriguing, like the idea of all the backrounds being put in by computer, like Sky Captain

Anyone else got any views?

yep I agree, looks to be a strong line-up this year.

My particular picks so far are "Primer", "The Machinist" and "Steamboy", I definately have to see these.

The allnighters are a good range too (all back at the Curzon it would seem, just like SFL 1), now if only I could decide which one to go to!

Also does anyone know whether any promo stuff has been issued yet for the festival or when this might happen? (I'm assuming this will be when venues and times have been confirmed but thought I'd ask anyway)

Thanks for the info on the tickets and times.

I think Steamboy is the film im most looking forward to seeing, so glad we get to see it on the big screen.

Really can't wait for the festival, i'm going to try and see as many films as possible.

Can anyone tell me when the list of "shorts" will be posted. I can't find anything on the home page. I find this a lot with Festivals all over the world.
