Shorts Programmes...
Hi, folks!
Was anyone able to see any of the Shorts Programmes at the festival? If so, were there any films in particular that stood out to you? Which shorts did you think were the top of the lot?
Thanks!
Roy

Let me see, the Netherbeast of Berm-Tech Industries was excellent, and probably my favourite. The carpenter & and his clumsy wife was funny, and I very much enjoyed La vie d'un chein as well as Velvet and Ratskins.

La Vie d'un Chien was excellent, simple idea well executed. Thinning the Herd was well made, dark and with an interesting message. M was one of my favourites - a mixture of brilliantly coloured live action, comic-book images and animation with a Latin-American soundtrack - great stuff. Having watched all the shorts over and over in the Mini-Cine, for me these were the standouts. The others all had their merits too.

Netherbeast made me laugh !!
But Blinded freaked me out, and I felt it was really well made.
M was cool, a nice twist at the end.
I didn't get to see them all
but hopefully there may be an opportunity somehow in the future
Good quality and great atmosphere anyhows.

I think you mean "Detective Q" Shinji, yes it was very funny.
Like lots of others Netherbeast was my personal favorite, but I also liked La Vie D'un Chien and Spirale. A very strong shorts selection this year I think, well done everyone!
