Been trying to learn to draw manga....i've been to the anime allnighter twice now and still not put anything on the wall, this time round I WILL....no matter how terrible the attempt is! lol.

I know sci-fi fans get a lot of stick for their geeky, obsesive behaviour and general lack of social skills (mostly untrue) but even the worst of sci-fi fans are a ray of sunshine compared emos. Even goths seem a cheery bunch of souls in comparison. Just have a look at emo girls video blog http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NMNpzJwOUOU and decide for yourself.

Tesla i dont think the words geek apply here?

the people who drop in spam Porn/debt sites?they are the sadsackz?

this was an OLD OLD thread picked up by someone with nothing better to do...
sci fi fans are not geeks, and not antisocial...they think more about stuff..
whatever...all areas of interest /hobbies etc..are somewhat obsessive,,,
fishing... hi fi enthusiasts...bands/music..mention anything and it has ''followers'''
just dont answer the bloody things..

we have nothing to prove..and certainly none of the women who enjoy sci fi have nothing to prove
its so easy to judge another's looks /prowess..and join the chavs..
PLEASe cant we have a chav free zone on this forum?

Elle, you are right. I was saying that most people's perceptions of sci-fi fans are those qualities I mentioned, when they are driving about with red and white flags in their cars, getting pissed and jabbering about what a tough game it was, as if they had played it themselves, then spouting expert advice on what should have been done on the field. And they say sci-fi fans are boring, while they are talking about football we are discussing the finer workings of the cosmos.

I would much rather discuss more intelligent matters, than look at powerpoint presentations, but that emo girl clip is funny. I mean birds are like dying.

If Elle's last post doesn't make senses it's because I deleted the it refers to as it was spam, which we don't abide by.
