TORONTO AFTER DARK FILM FESTIVAL, CANADA’S CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED SHOWCASE OF THRILLING CINEMA IS PLEASED TO ANNOUNCE ITS CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR ITS 2007 EDITION.

Calling all filmmakers! Right now our Programmers are on the lookout for both short and feature films to showcase at our 2nd Annual Festival, in the genres of: Horror, Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Animation, Crime, Action, Documentary and Experimental. Selected films can look forward to huge support from Toronto’s large film appreciating community and significant press coverage.

2007 FESTIVAL, BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER!

Last October, over 4,000 enthusiastic film fans and over 60 members of press and industry attended the inaugural Toronto After Dark Film Festival. We also enjoyed incredibly positive feedback from filmmakers. Following last year’s success, for the 2nd Annual Festival, we expand to seven nights in October. Plus we have more than doubled the number of awards for filmmakers to five categories including Audience and Festival Choice awards for both shorts and features, with prizes totaling $1,000 in cash.

ENTRY DEADLINES: MAY 24 & JUNE 22, 2007

We’ve also made it ultra easy this year for people to submit their entries to Toronto After Dark, with a simplified online submission form that takes just five minutes to complete! Filmmakers are advised to send in their entries as early as possible, to save on submission fees. Our two main deadlines this year are MAY 24 (Official Deadline) and JUNE 22 (Late Deadline). To make your submission now, or to find out more about our acclaimed and exciting film festival, visit:
