"A Bite of Stars, a Slug of Time, and Thou"

Post by tracerhand » Wed Apr 23, 2008 12:13 pm

Hi all,

If you're interested in old pulp science fiction magazines like Astounding Stories and Weird Tales, you may be interested in Resonance FM's show about this stuff that runs every Tuesday night through May. Elisha Sessions and Mark Sinker dramatize excerpts from the stories and then lead a wide-ranging discussion about it. Covering Fritz Leiber, Isaac Asimov, John W. Campbell, Donald Malcolm and Donald Wandrei so far, other authors will include Frank Herbert and C.L. Moore.

You can listen live as it happens, or subscribe to the podcast here -- http://freakytrigger.co.uk/slugoftime

I hope you enjoy it!

Cheers,

Elisha Sessions

By a strange coincidence, SFL's very own podcaster (er.. me) announced yesterdays ABoSaSoTaT (hmm..., sounds like an Eqyptian god if you say it out loud) live on Resonance FM only last night...
