Best Sci-Fi Series Ever? For me its got to be:

The Twilight Zone

(with honary mentions to The Prisoner, DS9 and MST3K)

Perhaps I'd better not ask, but seeing as I missed the 4400; what was is about, and why was it good?

Theres so many Sci-fi films and sirises I have seen I find it verry hard to chose one as a total fave but if were going for cutting edge befor its time i would say the matrix would win but like I said for a dead on fave its going to be verry hard to chose

ooops, I went away for christmas and never finished my conversation about the 4400!! Roosta, I hope you see this cos it is really good - it's about 4400 people who disappear mysteriously over 100 years, then all of a sudden they come back, but they haven't aged! No one knows where they've been, but they each have their own new 'power' Anyway, the gov't has to investigate and loads of weird things happen. Won't spoil it or bore you by saying more! But you can buy the dvd, i've pre-oredered mine - only £16 from play.com and it's out next week in COOL packaging!! :)

Thanks for the info higglyjiggly.

Sounds like Close Encounters meets the X-Men (I'm joking of-course!).

I'll be sure to give it a look in the not too distant future. After all, with 4400 characters, thats a lot of possible episodes to catch up on later!!! :D

The 4400 rocked (pronounced 44 hundred) , new series coming to sky soon and terrestrial broadcast of the first series can not be far off. I am a real farscape, Dark Angel, Witchblade, Andromeda, SG1, SG-Altantis and Battlestar Galactica fan I have to say.
