Re: New Red Dwarf coming to Dave this year
Not as funny as back to reality, on which it's based, but this was a clever show nonetheless (it wasn't just Blade Runner that was being referenced). I think breaking into 3x parts was a bad idea as it made it slow to watch (not as slow as Skellig) as they had a good plot which didn't suit 3x 30 min truncations- usually they pack all the laughs & plot into 30mins. It felt like they took a film and chopped it into 3x parts.

Episode 1: funny in places, overall a bit slow and seemed pointless. Episode 2: let's not go there. Episode 3: reassuringly funny, well written (liked the Blade Runner influence) and well made - no longer seems pointless.

I thought it was a bit of a let-down after the wait.
I would have preferred it to carry on from the end of the last series and explain what happened to the crew and why Rimmer was a Hologram again (but I think I'm just the only one who wanted that).

More of a let down, especially after seeing the classic episodes afterwards.
